• Normally Sensor battery last for 6 months.
• Sensor got a button battery and it's no is CR2450.

No, app won't notify. Even if the sensor battery is dead, you can still open and close the garage door using the mobile app. However, the app might not reflect the correct status of the door.

• After around 6 months of usage, if the door status in the app is incorrect (e.g., the door is physically closed but shown as open), it's likely time to replace the sensor battery.
• Open the sensor casing carefully to expose the internal components. Inside the sensor, you should see a small button. When pressed, look for an indicator light. If the light turns on, the battery is working fine. If no light appears, the battery is likely dead and needs replacement.
